Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure that all businesses and business-people have access to expert legal advice for a fair price. We believe that legal advice should be clear, pragmatic and that our lawyers should always recommend a way forward.
We realised that there are three key issues that business-people have with traditional legal advice:
- Advice that is incomprehensible, long winded and, despite most law firms telling everyone how “commercial” they are, not recognising the commercial realities of the situation.
- Legal costs that were out of kilter with the importance attributed to a matter by the client.
- Law firms not benefiting their clients by making useful introductions to help clients grow their businesses.
Our clients are typically extremely busy and need legal issues resolved quickly and efficiently. Legal issues are often time consuming and complex. The PLA Group was founded to help business-people grow their businesses faster.
We do this in four ways:
- We take ownership of their legal issues so that our clients can focus on growing their businesses. Our experienced, specialist solicitors provide easy to understand pragmatic advice that enable our clients to make commercial decisions.
- We use systems, processes and technology to provide a fantastic client journey. We hire expert, senior solicitors that have a huge depth of knowledge of experience. We are ravenous in our consumption of data and use this to monitor and improve the client journey, the quality of our advice and the value that we offer.
- Unlike most law firms, we actively try to put people together. We understand how fortunate we are to have such great contacts. We proactively introduce our clients and contacts to each other to create business opportunities.
- We are committed to meeting our Environmental, Sustainability and Social responsibilities and making a positive social impact.
